The Q Revo is a great choice if you're looking for a mid-range robot vacuum and mop. It has a great mopping capabilities, but is lacking some of the features of its more expensive counterpart.

During testing, it was able remove pet hair and dry oats out of carpets with a medium-pile. However, like cheaper models, it doesn't utilize LIDAR to help you map your home.

The iRobot Roomba S9+ is one of the most highly-rated robot vacuums. It comes with a variety of features and impressive cleaning power, such as the dirt compartment integrated into the charging base. The robot will learn your cleaning habits, and suggest automatic schedules to provide you with an effortless cleaning experience.

The iRobot Home App guides you through the process of setting up. Once everything is connected, you can start the automated cleaning process at the click of a button. You can select the general clean option, which prioritizes the removal of larger debris such as rice and cereal. You can also choose two mappings to ensure that your entire home is thoroughly cleaned.

This vacuum works well on both floors with no carpet and carpets with a low pile. It is able to pick up pet hair and clean large objects up. It doesn't lose its suction as fast as some other robot vacuums. It's a challenge with plush or high-pile carpets however, iRobot says that future models will be better.

The S9+ is a new design by iRobot that is focused on improving the edge and corner cleaning. It's the very first Roomba that has a flat-fronted D-shaped design. The company hopes this will allow it hug walls and furniture. It's a nice change from the hockey puck-like design of most robovacs, though we found it to be only marginally better than circular models.

iRobot also claims that the S9+ has a superior filter system that prevents tiny dust particles and allergens from circulating within your home. We like the claim however, it's not enough to justify a premium price.

Its smart navigation system utilizes sensors to remember the arrangement of your home and vSLAM to map the interior of your home. This allows it to avoid obstacles like stairs and other barriers and also to clean your whole home efficiently possible. The iRobot Home App allows you to schedule cleaning times and also set virtual boundary markers to ensure that the robot is aware of the areas that require attention.

2. Roborock Q Revo

Roborock Q Revo is a robot that combines vacuuming and mopping. Its vacuum settings are as good as those found on higher-end models. And its mopping system is even better - its spinning pads clean your floors better than the vibrating pads.

The app will only alert you when something is wrong, such as a low clean water tank or a vacuuming session that is cancelled due to the bin being full.

You can also design and merge actual rooms to alter the way that Q Revo manages your home. This is an excellent feature if you have multiple areas of your home with different flooring materials or there's some items that need to be removed frequently, such as clothes, toys and books. The robo-vac is also efficient and was among the top performers in my tests, taking debris from both carpets and hardwoods on the first pass. It can even vacuum up wet spills. I suggest drying the area with a towel prior to sending it in.

3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni

The X2 Omni has all of the features you'd expect from a high-end robot vacuum and mop combo and more. Similar to the iRobot Roomba S9+, it is a top-quality vacuum with a powerful suction to clean carpet and hard floors, as well as a rotating mop that scrubs tough staining. It also has a self-cleaning base station that automatically empties and washes mop pads, keeping them clean and ready for use again. The Dreametech L10s Ultra robot vacuum and mop is a premium model that has a range of features that aren't often found on robots in this price range. These features are nice but they also push the L10s into the class of luxury. This might make it more expensive than what homeowners want.
