During our tests, we observed that the IQ handled pet hair with ease. It was able to get rid of lots of debris on bare floors and a good amount of rug with a medium pile. It was less effective with shag carpets. It struggled to get at dirt and dust embedded within the fibers. It did a decent job of navigating the legs of chairs and tight spaces as well as the base of a wooden IKEA step stool. We did notice that it was a little slower on floors that were not paved but it quickly recovered and performed better than the other robots we tested.

The device is prone to bump into people and furniture in its course. However, it can detect obstacles using sensors. If it encounters them it halts and emits an alarm so that you can manually steer it through the obstacle before getting back to work.

Another fantastic feature of the eufy 11S is its BoostIQ mode that lets you set the robot to automatically adjust its suction strength to match the floor type and level of dirt. It's also easy to use the remote to direct the 11S in the direction you want it to move.
