It also did a great job maneuvering and didn't get in the way of my bar stools like the iRobot J7+ in this test. The only drawback is that the IONXL cannot detect toys, cords or shoes that may be in its path therefore you'll need to clean your home prior to running this robotic vacuum if you want it to stay clear of these items.

The ION XL robotic cleaner isn't as sophisticated as the iRobot j7+, but it's a great option if you do not need to spend more than $500 on a robot. It's superior to the eufy RoboVac 11S, in many ways. It's easier to maintain and has lower costs for recurring maintenance. It's also superior at vacuuming bare flooring and picking up pet fur, but isn't as effective on low- or carpets with higher pile.
