Slot missions can be a great way to acquire weapons, gear, and more. They're difficult to complete.

Concealed Weapon Slot

The concealed weapon slot is a special slot that allows you to carry pistols into a mission. Some players use it to help them achieve certain achievements, particularly those who are aiming for Suit Only. Some players utilize the extra pistol to close the gap. It is important to remember that in order to choose the pistols for this slot, click on the button for the appropriate category, like alternate slot 2 machine guns. Being able to have Major Expedition and Adept Rider on makes it easier to do. This combo increases the damage tick every 10 seconds from the Concealed Weapon for as long as it is slotted.

Smuggled Item Slot

The smuggled item slot an excellent option for allowing players to bring in tools and weapons, but it could benefit from a more streamlined affordance. It's currently shaped like pistols, which makes it hard to differentiate the smuggled item slot from other fun slots (click the next page) in the gear.

The smuggle slot can hold many different items, from subtle concussion devices to weapons-grade explosives. These items are hidden in locations throughout the map. They can also be found anytime. Smuggled items are distinct from Agency Pickups and Hidden Stashes that conceal small objects in the scenery, and objects directly.

Mission planning is a feature that is available in episodic missions that allows players to unlock different starting locations equipment, smuggled items, and slots ahead of their entry into the map. As players advance through challenges and unlock new Mission Mastery levels, these planning options increase. This allows players the ability to design the perfect mission for each task.

Gear Slot

The slots for gear will quickly fill up in the early stages of the game, resulting in the dreaded message "Your Gear free casino slots are Full". This message stops Max to pick new equipment until the old ones are removed or more space has been obtained. The solution is the Hogwarts Legacy Merlin Trials which provide more inventory space in exchange for the completion of challenges. Since a lot of these challenges are not completed and are scattered across the globe, it could take a while to reach the maximum number inventory slots available in the game.

Each player has up to five different kinds of gear in their five Gear top mobile slots. These must be selected from the Gear Selection menu prior to breaking in. Each individual gear item (except the Pistol) will take up one Gear Slot while a set of similar items (like Grenades of the same kind) only takes up one Gear Slot.

Agency Pickups

As you progress through Mission Mastery levels, you unlock various agency pickups on the map. These locations allow you to keep items that do not fit into your slot for gear or weapon and retrieve them later.

These pickups are especially useful if you have to go through a frisk later in the mission, or if you are carrying a weapon that might otherwise cause suspicion. You can only hide one item per game at an agency pickup location.

This DLC also adds new security and asset protection contracts to the agency. Talk to the receptionist at the agency and stock up on snacks and other items. Once you've reached the marker, identify a mob when you arrive.
