The Babyzen Yoyo stroller is a good option if you are on a tight budget and don't require a stroller that can be used as car seat carrier. It has a simple one-step foot brake that's flip flop comfortable.

It's also easy to push and feels solid in navigating kerbs or woodland pathways. It's also a breeze to fold.

1. Babyzen YOYO2

The Babyzen YOYO2 has earned itself a reputation as the most stroller that is light, ideal for city dwellers as jet-setters. This is due to its nimble maneuverability and fold-down design that can be incorporated into an aeroplane's overhead luggage. This latest version boasts independent suspension on all four wheels, made of Hytrel Elastomer, which allows it to effortlessly navigate across all types of surfaces and terrain'.

The base YOYO2 frame with a curved fabric bassinet as well as a the 6+ month colour pack come together to form a stylish pushchair that is easy on the eyes, with a subtle but elegant design and stylish branding. The frame's weight is less than a kilogram, and is so lightweight that you can lift it from the box with just one hand.

The frame on the Xplore feels sturdy and solid, although it does not have the same flexibility as other wagons we tested. It is also more difficult than other wagons to fold and it isn't able to lock securely when folded. It is easy to move, though, and it can fit through narrow 28-inch doors.

3. Delta Children LX Side by Side

This bare-bones double stroller from Delta Children is an excellent option for parents seeking a budget-friendly secondary travel stroller. It scored a dazzling score in our Strollers & Multiples test for weight and single fold pushchair size which means it's light, compact when folded and easy to move into a car trunk or closet. It also offers a multi-position reclining seat and an adult cup holder. Other features worth mentioning include two large storage bags that hang from the ceiling and 360-degree front wheels that absorb shock.

In our push and turn test, it did better than most of the other cheap strollers we tested, but it's still not the most comfortable to maneuver on uneven terrain or through narrow doorways. Its sunshades are among the ones we tested the smallest, providing only a direct overhead coverage and no peekaboo windows. The UPPAbaby G-Link 2 has a more extensive canopy.

The Delta took us just over three minutes to put together using an average manual, and none of the components required tools. It's missing some features that we consider essential in double strollers. These include an extra-large basket, reclining seats, and leg rests that can be adjusted.

4. Maxi-Cosi Zelia 2-in-1

The Zelia is the newest addition to Maxi-Cosi's pushchair range and is advertised as an urban travel system. It is designed to carry baby from birth up to around 3.5 years, converting easily between a carrycot and seat in just a few clicks. It can also be used with Maxi Cosi capsule car seats, and comes with the light Mico 30 infant car seat, a stay-in-car base, and a reversible car.

The seat can be reclined using one hand and the large shopping basket makes it simple for parents to help their child in and out. Despite this being quite a small pushchair, it was able to handle the everyday bumps well and slid through doors without any fuss.

The front wheels are able to be locked in a forward position, or they can rotate. This is useful in rough terrain. While walking through the stony trail, we let them swivel and it handled this fairly well although it did seem slightly bumpier than other models on test.

5. Baby Jogger City Tour 2,

Baby Jogger is known for their 3-wheeler, all-terrain Jogging pushchairs, however they also make a good assortment of strollers with four wheels. The City Tour 2 is one of their most sought-after models. It is easy to use and folds up small enough to fit in the car boot, even with the carrycot attached.

It's a bit heavier than other strollers that we tested but the wheels are a rubber composite, so it feels sturdy and durable. It is able to maneuver effortlessly across all types of terrain and it's easy to carry even with two kids and a shopping bag.

The carrycot and the seat both come with hoods with pull-down UV50+ sun canopy extensions. They are strong and waterproof, unlike other hoods for prams that can be blown back into toddlers' faces.

It doesn't have a lot of storage space, but it does have a large basket that's large enough to fit an infant's changing bag and plenty of groceries. It can also be connected with the Baby Jogger infant car seat to create a traveling system for infants up to 20 lb (car seat and adapters are sold separately). If you need a stroller that is able to be taken on the road, then the City Tour 2 is an excellent option.

6. Nuna Mixx Next

When the Nuna Mixx first came onto the scene, it stole the hearts of parents everywhere. It is an aluminium-framed stroller that can be used from infant's earliest days through. It's got a lot of standout features, such as the ability of the seat to flip between parent and world facing, a large UPF50+ canopy that has an eye-shade that flips out, as well as an adjustable handlebar.

The wheels are strong and filled with foam which minimizes punctures. The chassis also has built-in suspension that eases the pain of bumpy terrain. Our test driver found it easy to push and was able to maneuver it through narrow streets without difficulty.

It folds down in four easy steps and locks automatically without hassle. It is also able to stand and be rolled around for easier transportation in the car's boot or down the stairs at home. The travel system is also available with the option to add an additional car seat or carrycot by using the adaptors that are included. The brakes are only one action and are color coded. They also work with flip-flops.

7. Babyzen Duet

This budget-friendly pushchair is simple to use and comes with a fantastic dual suspension. It can be folded with one hand and comes with a convenient carrying strap. It's also lightweight and durable. The seat can be reclined into a variety of different positions. It also comes with a double breathable mattress built in that is suitable for babies.

The canopy/seat comes with two large fixed or flip-out sun visors. Both are UPF50+. However, the toggle closure isn't great it's not as quiet as Velcro and may wake napping babies.

The Duet is an angled stroller that can accommodate twins or siblings. (Up to 22kg per seat). It is compatible with two infant car seat and some carrycots. In twin-mode, the seats can be positioned to face one another or turn around and face their parents, potentially decreasing sibling rivalries over who should sit with dad and mom. It comes with a big gear tray, a bottle holder and snack tray. It also has an automatic frame lock and a compact fold.

8. Baby Jogger Urban Glide 2

The Thule Urban glide 2 is the ideal stroller for parents who like to be active. It's among the lightest strollers that you can buy your child. It also comes with excellent safety features, like a 5-point safety harness and wrist safety strap. It also has an innovative twist hand brake that's distinct from the lever-type that is found on other models.

The seat is well padded and provides plenty of space to sit. However, the seat depth is smaller than that of other runners (it's only about 10") The storage bin has an enclosed zipper to help keep things secure. It can hold up to 10lbs which is sufficient for the majority of diaper bags.

The Urban Glide 2 isn't compatible with bassinets or infant car seats in the way it is, however you can use it from the beginning by purchasing adapters for most seats by brands like BOB, Graco, Combi, Evenflo, Britax, and UPPAbaby. It is easy to fold and put together within 5-10 minutes, without tools. The manual is simple to read and contains a variety of languages.
